I (21F) used to love anime when I was younger but the way women and men can be sexualised or portrayed in a sexist way really makes me feel uncomfortable and so I stopped watching anime. Are there are where there isn’t much sexism throughout including language, themes and body portrayal?
EDIT: Just to clarify, I’m fine with the normal stuff that can be in any tv shows as u can’t escape sexism completely but it’s more as long as it isn’t tonnes of scenes of boobs and butts and anything that makes women or men seem over-stereotypical in their gender roles e.g women being seen as pathetic or need saving or toxic masculinity. I’m just really don’t like ‘fan service’ or things geared up for men to ogle especially in this day and age
