Anime veteran (171 watched) but yet to watch any Gundam and I’m off to Japan in July for the second time, with a Gunpla top of my shopping list. I want to watch some Gundam before I go to decide which one to get and have a better knowledge of Gundam as a whole, so my question is: where is a good place to start with Gundam/ if I only watch 1 Gundam show/film, which one should it be?
