i want to watch some anime as i have kind of run out of traditional media and for entertianment i watch either youtube or read but i want a show. My problem is finding the right anime. I dont like a lot of the quirks a lot of anime have. What would be some of your recommendations of anime that feels similar to western content and dont provide nearly as much as a culture shock when watching? i dont want the big animes that every anime fan has to watch i want animes that feel less like anime to start getting into anime.
Edit – i like star wars and high fantasy and have watched the first episode of cowboy bebop and didnt have any problems with it being too anime the show just didnt grab me but im going to watch some more
