I think it was released between 2000 and 2012, I remember watching and thinking it was similar to Toradora. It’s about a group of friends in high school (I remember at least five students in the group) and by the end of the series there was one if not two couples.
it may have started with the letter m and I recall perhaps a character with dark blue hair and a character with purple hair. It could be shoujo. I remember thinking it was good but never saw it on any best __ anime lists. I would like to watch it again…
