Has there been any case of a studio change bringing forth an INCREASE in quality rather than a downgrade?

We’ve all seen cases of an anime switching studios between seasons, and that usually caused the anime to decline in quality (One Punch Man, Classroom of the elite, Devil’s a part timer, Attack on titan, etc).

So has the reverse ever happened? Is there any anime that switched studios and resulted in the new production actually being superior to the former one?

And I’m not talking about remakes or spin-offs. I’m only referring to transitions between seasons, like from season 1-2, or similar.
