Sorry to be so self-centered, I know many people have seen and enjoyed it and that my experience isn’t really that important.
But I googled it and it hasn’t been mentioned much since it came out, so I figured it deserved a bit of appreciation a few years on.
Not to spoil anything to early; but it’s a film that has absolutely zero restraint, it unhesitantly takes every over that top moment that you’ve seen in anime before and mashes it together to create one of the most over the top films that I have ever seen.
It can be summarizes as “Go big or go home: The Movie” and I just needed to vent about how happy I was that we have such films.
