I watched an anime about a year ago and for the life of me I can’t remember what it was called. Here’s what I remember.
The protagonist was an “unofficial” hero. There were rumors that an extra hero (I think he was the fifth) existed, but no one knew anything about him. Throughout the series he helps the main group of heroes and becomes more widely know.
