**Note to all Rewatchers**

Rewatchers, please be mindful of your fellow first-timers and tag your spoilers appropriately using the r/anime spoiler tag if your comment holds even the slightest of indicators as to future spoilers. Feel free to discuss future plot points behind the safe veil of a spoiler tag, or coyly and *discreetly* ‘Laugh in Rewatcher’ at our first-timers’ temporary ignorance, but please ensure our first-timers are no more privy or suspicious than they were the moment they opened the day’s thread.

**Daily Trivia:**

> Anime director Yoshiyuki Tomino considers his work on the show to be highly important to his career in the anime industry, even claiming that some of his landmark works would not have happened were it not for the sensibilities he chose to follow after working on *Heidi*.

**Staff Highlight**

Takeo Watanabe – Music Composer

> A musician, composer, poet, and in-between animator, Takeo Watanabe was a prolific composer in the anime industry who chiefly worked on live-action period dramas and a large number of influential anime series. Among his many works are massively influential shows, such as *Attack No. 1*, *Heidi, Girl of The Alps*, *Mobile Suit Gundam,* *Cutie Honey*, *Kyojin no Hoshi*, and *Candy Candy.*

**Questions of the Day:**

1) What do you make of the reintroduction of birds as a means of symbolism once again?

**This bird knows nothing about the mountains.**
