Talentless Nana was an average watch [short review]

I watched simply because I’ve covered most of the superior psychological thrillers out there. So I just speed ran it. It started off with a lot of promise, with certain promising aspects like cool characters, interesting though unoriginal premise, fast paced plot and so on. However, even these could not make up for the following flaws:

1. The characters other than the relevant ones are too stupid. It was clear pretty soon enough who the killer was.

2. The MC is just not likeable and doesn’t have a higher goal for being the killer

3. The forced lighthearted moments are unnecessary and annoying. The show lost itself a bit in what it was aiming to become.

4. Season 1 introduced more characters and left them resolved than a good anime should

5. The season ended on such a terrible note that no real desire to come back for season 2 was created.

Will it get a season 2? Probably no. Does it deserve a season 2? Also, probably no. You could probably watch it to kill time, but don’t go there expecting a masterpiece.
