As the title mentions, I’m trying to find the name of an anime I saw as a child. I’ve been trying to find the name for some years now.
From what I can remember, the anime was about humans living in a tower, a very very big tower (they can’t even see the ground no more). They have been living in this tower for generations and have never walked on earth. From memory the purpose of the humans was to continue building the tower higher and higher.
Two (three maybe ) children’s decide to start exploring the lower levels of the tower and as they go down some people try to stop them. The anime was following these kids, the fights and all. At the end of the anime they realize that the tower doesn’t even touch the ground anymore. It’s kind of flying. From memory To continue building the tower higher and higher and higher some humans were actually taking the stones from the lower levels of the tower.
Its possible that some elements of this story are not exactly correct but that’s how I remember it.
Would love if someone has an idea of the name, I tried multiple groups already with no success.
