Back before I started going deep into anime, I have this strong memory of thinking that the whole internet, whole community, whole everything unanimously agreed that Death Note was THE BEST CRITICALLY ACLAIMED ANIME of all time. Funny how now that I’m here, I don’t hear about it being talked about at all. And it’s not number 1 in any of any online lists I could find
