Why is kayo villainized? From: Boku Dake ga Inai Machi

I have seen way too many clips, posts, text-on-images saying kayo betrayed satoru and that kayo ‘insert endless defaming words’ and how girl only use men etc when they refer to kayo. Its like an emotional baggage projection that goes on in the comment section where kayo’s kid is shown.

But i don’t understand why?
they were 9-10 when this happened. they were never officially “in love”. satoru’s motive was to save her. its not like they dated till their 20s and got married and then he fell into a coma and she married someone else within 3 days or some.

Are you supposed to wait an infinity for a person you do not romantically love , and celibate for them because they saved you when you were 10? 10???? can you even feel romantic love at “10”?
are you indebt to someone and have to marry them because they saved your life? Like wt?

she knows this man saved her and she kept on visiting him forever. thats more than anyone does. that makes her a great person.

i dont think just because one person loves another with all their heart, the other person is obliged to fall back in love with them. this hate on kayo is just absurd. she didnt betray him. she was always there. but why does it have to be forceful romantic.
